Goldsmith stabbed to death in Saran.

Chapra, Jan 28 (HS): A dead body of a goldsmith was recovered near the canal at Harpur under Ekma police station. He was stabbed to death. The  Deceased was identified as Radhe Shayam Soni, son of late Moti Lal Sah of Parsagadh.

According to the police , he used to run the gold-silver shop. Police suspect, he has been stabbed last night while returning home. Agitated villagers staged a road blockade and demanded immediate arrest of the criminals and adequate compensation to the family of the deceased.

In another incident, the dead body of an old woman was also recovered from near Saryu river near Dumaihadh under Manjhi police station. Deceased was identified as Sharda Devi, wife Of late Parshuram Sonar of Shitalpur village under Manjhi police station.

Police have sent the body for postmortem. and it is said that she died of cold while a few others said that she committed suicide due to family disputes Police are investigating.
